What’s next?
A Member Services Representative will review your information and contact you regarding the status of your account, including any applicable connection fees or deposits.
Member Services Representatives are available Monday through Thursday from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm by calling (863) 946-6200. Please allow one to two business days for your request to be processed.
If the location at which you are attempting to establish a service has never had power before, the following items need to be completed in addition to the Membership Application. Please complete and submit to a local office. (Note: We must receive the original and notarized Right of Way Easement form before construction can occur at the location.)

Get to Know Your Co-op
We are glad you are joining us! Glades Electric Cooperative is a not-for-profit electric distribution cooperative serving over 18,000 accounts in Glades, Hendry, Highlands, and Okeechobee counties. We are headquartered in Moore Haven with a satellite office in Lake Placid.
Our co-op was created by community members to serve their unserved neighbors in Florida’s Heartland. Even
today, we provide power to some of the most rural areas of Florida, averaging seven meters per mile of service line.
Our not-for-profit cooperative model makes it possible to deliver service to areas investor-owned utilities are
unable to serve.
As a member of Glades Electric Cooperative, you will be one of our Neighbors Powering Neighbors. Our co-op
members have important roles within our organization. Members elect members to lead on our Board of Trustees,
members represent members in board leadership, and members provide equity to power our co-op and provide
electricity to each other.
