GEC also offers a pay-by -phone option for Visa, Mastercard, and AMEX credit card payments and bank account draft by calling 844-201-7203. Payments will post immediately to the account.
Automatic Payments via Bank Draft, Credit, or Debit Card
Save checks and time by setting up automated, electronic payments from your checking, savings, or credit card account for your bill amount each month. You will continue to receive a statement, so you will know how much is being drafted from your account. Your account will be drafted on the due date printed on your bill. Sign up through our SmartHub portal online or in the SmartHub app available in the Apple App Store or through Google Play.
Vanilla Direct Pay
Pay with cash at many convenient locations using the Vanilla Direct Pay barcode on the back of your bill. Vanilla Direct Pay locations include Dollar General, CVS, Walgreens, Pilot, Walmart, and more.
- The Vanilla Direct Pay barcode is also available in the SmartHub app. Just go to Bill & Pay at the bottom of the screen > select Pay By Cash > View Barcode. Participating locations are also available on the Pay By Cash page.
- There is a $1.50 convenience fee for the service.
- The majority of participating locations will accept cash payments up to a maximum amount of $500.

- Bring cash for your payment and $1.50 MoneyGram fee

We also offer a pre-paid account option for members who prefer to have more flexibility with payment amounts and timing. With PowerPay!, members can avoid paper bills, late fees, large deposits, disconnect and reconnect fees, and due dates. See our PowerPay! info sheet (PDF) for more details.
After-hours deposit boxes are located at each of our office locations. If you deposit your payment in an after-hours deposit box after 6 p.m., your account will be credited the next business day.
