Rates Reduced for Sixth Consecutive Month

We are pleased to announce that our Board of Trustees has reduced rates for the sixth consecutive month. Since April, our rate reductions have totaled 6.4%, saving members over $1.1 million through the end of the year. These rate adjustments have been reflected in the Power Cost Adjustment and Tier Tracker lines on GEC bills.

We are always seeking ways to operate as cost-effectively as possible to keep more money in our members’ pockets. We know that’s especially crucial right now as so many have been financially impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. As an electric cooperative, Glades Electric Cooperative operates at-cost and we are committed to returning savings to our members.

We appreciate our members and are your Neighbors Working for Neighbors, striving to provide exceptional service in all circumstances.
