New Construction
We are glad you are joining Glades Electric Cooperative. Once you have obtained your electrical permit, we recommend you consult with our Staking Engineers prior to the construction of your meter location to ensure it is located optimally for electric service installation.
To request construction of a new electric service, please click the application button below. After your request has been submitted, a Member Services Representative will review your information and contact you regarding any additional information needed.

A connect fee of $75.00 is required for new services.
New Construction Membership ApplicationIf the location at which you are attempting to establish service has never had power, please complete the following items, print, and submit them to a local office. (Note: We must receive the original and notarized Right-of-Way Easement form before construction can occur at the location.)

- Member Load Data Survey
- A Right-of-Way Easement (select one of the following)
- Individual
- Corporation
- If required by your county, a copy of your permit for new electrical service must be submitted to us before your service application will be processed.
Important to Know
Standard deposit amounts are based upon the type of location served. Members may choose to allow Glades Electric to run a credit check to determine if they qualify for a waiver or reduction of the deposit. Based on the results of the credit check, a member may have to pay the full deposit, a reduced deposit, or no deposit.
